About CrystalBitoreum (BTRM)

Crystal Bitoreum is the active continuation of the Bitoreum blockchain, a grassroots cryptocurrency originally built as a fork of Raptoreum (and by extension Dash). While the original project stalled due to limited developer engagement, Crystal Bitoreum was born to reignite the ecosystem with new code, transparency, and community-first governance. This is not a fork in the traditional sense. Crystal is a working title used to distinguish our updated chain and software stack from the dormant legacy codebase. All efforts are to keep the same coin supply, smartnode system and emission curve — but with a radically upgraded infrastructure and renewed vision.
