About KRGN

Kerrigan is a multi-algorithm proof-of-work cryptocurrency that combines hardware diversity, zero-knowledge privacy, and a novel seal-based consensus layer called the Hivemind Protocol. Four mining algorithms (X11, KawPoW, Equihash 200,9, and Equihash 192,7) run simultaneously from genesis, each with independent difficulty adjustment derived from DigiByte's multi-algo approach. Sapling zk-SNARK shielded transactions give users the option of full transactional privacy. The Hivemind Protocol adds a second consensus dimension on top of PoW, where miners collectively seal blocks through BLS-signed attestations and verifiable random committee selection. V1 launches as a mining-focused chain with masternodes and on-chain governance. V2 extends the network into GPU compute for AI inference, redirecting block rewards to incentivize inference providers alongside miners.
